Dr. Kazune Pax
DDS, PhD
Dr. Kazune Pax, DDS, PhD, sees patients at Pebble Hills Dental Care. She earned her bachelor's degree in Science Pre-Professional Studies and Math from the University of Notre Dame and a PhD in Oral Biology from The Ohio State University in 2024. Her research has explored how maternal health and environmental exposures influence the development of the infant oral microbiome.

How often should I visit the dentist?
Most adults should visit every six months for preventive care, including professional cleaning and examination. Some patients with conditions like gum disease, diabetes, or frequent cavities may need visits every three to four months. We'll recommend a personalized schedule based on your needs.
What are some signs I should see a dentist right away?
See us right away for ongoing tooth discomfort, new temperature sensitivity, gum inflammation or bleeding, a loose tooth, chronic bad breath, oral lesions, eating difficulties, or changes in gum appearance. Early intervention can prevent more extensive treatment. Call (915) 289-2301.
